A fun weekend run through Death Valley with the Southern California contingent of Project-JK jeeps. We took Cerro Gordo Road (a.k.a. Yellow Grade Road) up to visit the old Cerro Gordo Mine, then took Saline Valley Road to Lippincott Mine Road. After camping near the Racetrack, we took Racetrack Road to Hidden Valley/Hunter Mountain Road, then made a stop at the Trona Pinnacles on the way home. To read my Trail Report, you can see it at
http://www.project-jk.com under "Project-JK Death Valley Racetrack Run 2007".
At lot of these photos are just snapshots of the people and jeeps mixed in with my photos of Death Valley. The photos of the Racetrack and the Trona Pinnacles will be placed in separate galleries.
